Those that know me know my passion for fishing Cedros Island with Cedros Sportfishing BC. My first trip to Cedros was in 1969 on the Red Rooster II and the fishing was great. It is just as great today.

My annual trip leaves on Sunday, September 11th. One spot just opened up on this trip. The fishing at the island can only be described as spectacular - Yellowtail, Calico Bass, Dorado, Yellowfin Tuna, and Halibut too! This is a 6-day trip, we return on Friday, September 16.

If you ever wanted to experience this amazing fishery, the charm of Cedros Island, and the luxury of staying in the finest lodge on the island……this is your chance. Tackle requirements are minimal because the fishing is so good. And you return with as much as 40#s of filleted, vacuum-packed frozen fish.

Sure....we depart Sunday, Sept 11th from the Tijuana Airport. Everyone needs to be at the CBX Terminal (US side) by 8 AM. It is a six-day trip with 4 days of fishing, we return on Friday between 10 and 11 AM. Everything is included in the price - flights, food, lodging, 4 days of panga fishing, license, fish processing, and non-alcoholic drinks. What is extra is beer if you drink beer, laundry service, and tips. An all-in price excluding beer is ~$3300. If everyone packs light we can bring back about 40 pounds per person of vacuum-packed frozen fish. We will be targeting YT, Dorado, YFT, CB, and Halibut. The way we fish for these species is exactly the same as we do in Southern California except the fishing is on steroids. The vast majority of fish are caught on jigs and lures although we also catch mackerel for bait.
