So me and this masked bandit have been at war over my vegetable garden for almost a week now, then last night around 10:30 I heard him at war with some of the local domestic pets, it was quite disturbing. I'm sure there are laws about releasing wild animals wherever one feels like letting them go but I'm basically a tree hugger (that has no problem killing innocent tuna) that couldn't possibly kill a racoon. So, just in case I should happen to catch him, theoretically speaking, does anyone know a good spot in the South Bay to release one? I have attached a photo shopped image of what it might look like if, as I say, theoretically, I should catch him.

About 150 NM out to sea!
Satisfy your guilt and have the satisfaction of releasing him/her (politically correct term unknown) safely.

Be careful of transporting and releasing that thing.I think it's illegal. With that said i trapped the one eating the turtles and fish in my pond and took it down to the San Diego river.

If you catch it call animal control people, they take them to a nice happy farm out in the woods. Releasing them somewhere else is illegal.

If it is a male coon, a moonshiner would take it off your hands!

I have live traps and get those Striped bandits and possums that are just a destructive to all you hard garden work.
I just drive them to some park or open space and let the go.
Have to say those fucking raccoons are scarry and I'm on edge every time I let one go.

Take him to your local homeless/criminal encampment and release him. He will fit right in snarling with the locals. He will be well fed by the goodies and probably get free health care to boot.:loverz:

We have a lot of those trash pandas up in Running Springs. For the most part we don't mind them. Take it to a rural area and let it go, but he careful those bastards are mean when cornered.
