Whattup guys!

Sorry for the late report. Short on time since we got back from out 1.5 on the Pacifica.

Got to the landing early and checked in.
My buddy Ray and I were first in line with a few other guys behind us.
Bunch of cool guys in line with us, made the time go by.
9pm rolls around and we board....

I figured I should mention... There was a clear and distinct line with everyone "Social Distancing".
A few guys decided lines don't apply to them and roll up to the front of the line.
They were promptly sent to the back...

Sounded like the majority of the fishing was being done on the backside of Catalina and as far north as SBI.
Loaded up on some mixed sized sardines.

Rigged a few set ups, 25,30,40lb, 80lb incase the big girls wanted to play and a colt sniper.

Fished 25lb test with a size 2 J hook the whole day.
First fish came over the rail at about 10am.

It was pretty much stop and go, picking off one or two per stop on the slide.
I hooked a 55lb Yellowfin and a 30lb BFT on fly line sardines. The YFT was an absolute pig.

We had one good school stick with us that resulted in about 30BFT from 20-40lb all on light line.

With the skunk off, I decided to go play on the bow.

Hooked one BFT on the 100gm Pink/Blue colt sniper that came unbuttoned.
Cruised around for an hour... The bite went WIDE OPEN at about 2-3pm...
I hooked 4 BFT on 40lb Fluro on that stop and one more Yellowfin.

My Buddy Ray caught his first bluefin and limits as well as helped a few guys with hook and hands.

Overall Great trip!

Will post pictures when I'm out of work!

The Pacifica is a top notch operation!
