Left San Pedro at 4pm already tanked up with great looking squid from San Pedro Bait, took some advise from my buddy Darren to head to the west end and I must say that was good advise. After a bumpy hour and ten minute ride we found 59 degree water and four other boats working the kelp line at the point, so we decided to continue down a cove or two to try to find our own fish. We found some good looking conditions and dropped anchor at about 5:30 pm. After 2 and a half hours of fishing hard and farming 4 fish we got limits for 5 on the WSB up to 50 lbs. Left Catalina at 8pm, back at the slip by 9, what an epic trip.
