Fished the west end of Catalina. Good fishing. Got one seabass then went codding and got 22. Then bass and sheepshead next. Got 8 bass and 8 sheepshead.

See you all at the show!

We like to give the salmon groupers away to people that ask if we have any extra fish.If you know me you know I don't through legal fish back ever...

It's not my job to catch fish for people who can't or won't. I mostly catch and release.

I remember when I was younger I used to only dig older chicks. Now that I am older I will hit anything barely legal, just like your sea bass.

Dave, I am totally fucking with you, I would have been stoked to put in my cooler too.

I used to keep everything I caught as well , I stopped that practice over ten years ago and I think most anglers in general practice this way of fishing as well , we all need to protect our ocean resources so there is a tomorrow for our kids and grand kids , I'm certainly not a tree hugger but I do belive in protecting our resources and keeping only what we will eat

Allyn Watson's deckhand/girlfriend gaffed this one before I could even say boo. Never even entered my mind that that was even an option. 26 inches caught at Starlight.
