This should be fun!
Yep, on their way to the Marlin club to weigh it in.
Word was over 100lb...we'll see.
Do tell...................and show.
nice grade blue fin at the 9
From that pic to 100 is a lot of eating.
Sweet, way to go! I was thinking about heading out to 9 tomorrow...after this news hits, it's going to be a mad house out there!
very nice grade congrats
Day-yum! Braggin' rights for someone.
Not my story to tell, but I do know it was hooked on the troll around 9:30 a.m. and was landed around 5:30 pm. Hopefully the lucky angler will share with us.
Thank you! choppy waters!!!
Are you saying it took them 8 hrs to land a 100 lb tuna or troll gear?
Wow, you're quick.
Were they using 20lb test on the trolling setup? Why so long? Hmmm.
Just going off what I heard over the radio. I believe the guy was fishing solo and a crew from another boat jumped on board to help him land it.
Freedom saying they got one estimated at 120 to 130 today. I'd like to walk into my favorite sushi bar with one of those slung over my back and say "cut 'er up, tuna for everyone"
I just talked to my friend. He encountered the solo fisherman hooked up on the 9. The fish was foul hooked so the fishes head was turned away from the angler for the whole fight. They both pulled on it and it kicked both of their asses! No way to turn it. 8 hours!!!
Nuts!! Freaken nuts
This should prove interesting.
I hope the angler shares the story.
I would hop on and help as well.
My arm is still kinda' sore from last weeks tuna pen melee. So I know what a good sized Bluefin can do when he's headed in the opposite direction.
