Booked on a 3 day out of Fisherman’s Landing on Shogun, 8/13-16. With the drive, (360 miles) I’d like to add another day of fishing. Day and a half on Pacifica out of Seaforth departs Sunday evening 8/11 and due to return Tuesday morning 8/13 at 6:00 A.M.

Enough time to unload and haul ass over to Fisherman’s Landing and catch the 3 day? Shogun departure is scheduled for 10:30. They’re turning around from another 3 day. Boarding by number so no rush there.

Figure if you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up too much space. ;)

No problem, but what are you going to do with fish from first trip? Have 5 star process and hold onto til you get back?

Dooooo it!!! You've got the time so go smash some fish.

I'm headed down in October and doing back to back to back 2.5 day trips. PQ, El Capitan and TG80, can't wait.

Seems like you might have to find a new boat but I would think that would be possible to do.

Change of plans. Booked on New Lo An. Departs Sunday night, 8/11, fish Monday and return Tuesday 8/13. Get off the boat, handle fish processing, walk 100 yards down to Fisherman’s Landing and check in for Shogun.

She’s in the boatyard for repairs. Wonder who will be driving once she’s ready to go again.

Just cancelled the spot I had reserved on the New Lo-An and will be reserving a spot on Pacifica. NLA will fill, 32 anglers, more than I want to fish with on a 65’ boat. Andrew is back and running trips. Loads are light, he’s getting off the dock with as few as 7, some nights low teens. Come fish with me!

So, I ordered some Hogy jigs, called Pro Tail Paddle. Corndog had some success with them last season, casting into the foamers. They come with the jighead imbedded and are made with VMC hooks, pretty beefy. The hooks are Barbarian Jig Hooks, obviously with lead molded on. I got two of each in Black and Silver, 5.5”, 2 oz. with a 3X hook size 8/0, and 4.25”, 1 1/4 oz. with a 2X hook size 6/0. See how it goes, I’ll get back to you.

Steve I would bring some small chrome jig’s,
With good hooks on them, for the foamers

Feeling very fortunate to be able to do this. After a fun 8 day on the Angler that departed Memorial Day Weekend, and getting to fish a 10 day, same boat, departing 10/23, I wanted to sneak in a little fishing time in between those longer trips. This is perfect!
