Looking to buy/trade for some blanks. Nothing fancy, just some basic Calstars to help round out my quiver.

    690J
    700XX
    700XXX

Does Calstar even make the basic stuff anymore ? everything seems to have 8 numbers and 6 letters for the model number.

The Grafighters seem to be the number+letter numbering convention. No idea if the others are still made but Mudhole does still have them listed, with some/most on back-order.

I don’t know the specific date they were made but they were in a rack of fairly newly made blanks (some so new they fit your description of numbers and letters above well) and looked to be of the same time frame.

They are at island tackle. I didn’t get a full list but was just browsing generally and saw them and was glad to see they are still being made.

Go to Island Tackle in Carson. They have a bunch of 690Js. I buy all of my Calstar blanks from Sam. Last time I was there I saw around 20-30 older Calstar blanks in stock.

All those blanks are available at mudhole in either black or tan. 690 in black 6480 in tan and a 670h in black.
Additionally, I see those blanks fairly often at tackle stores that carry large amounts of calstars

Thanks Joe, but those don't quite fit the gaps I've got.

    Much appreciated!
