    Its not very fun,I have been out a few times and can't catch them.I think everyone should sell their gear and stay home until after December.

    very excited for hoopin and diving this season. i think its going to be good. decided to snorkel at windansea in la jolla instead of surf the other day and ended up seeing quite a few lobsters creeping around mid day! GET SOME!

    X2 its stupid on 2 of my spots cant hardley even nav around the number hoops.

    Sadly, there are no secret spots anymore. If you got spots that are less crowded, good for you. But don't be shocked when you roll up on one or two of them and find someone else there.

    I completely agree. It's dark, it's wet and cold, I never catch anything except crabs and more stupid rockfish stuck in the net. I would recommend not trying this stupid sport ever!!!

    yes it is... but you have to save the shell so it can be measured.
    new to hoop netting eh? I am way to busy to cook and eat them on the water, but that is what I do when I get back home. Neighbors don't mind the midnight BBQ but they aren't crazy about the motor flushing :rofl::rofl::rofl:
