Nice job. The boat looks great!

I relocated my batteries into the cutty's potty hole. It will hold 3- Gp 29 batteries. I placed a 4th Gp 24 battery under the back seat and wired them together into a dual battery configuration.

Since I moor my boat, I abandoned the two 20 gal bait tanks putting a 36 qt cooler on top of one and making a storage box on top of the other with starboard while enclosing the transom. The F150 4S lifts completely out of the water at rest due to the extra weight in the bow. Plus it does not need trim tabs.

My '87 has the original 105 gal fuel tank. Did yours leak or did you just replace it due to its age?

Did you know that your boat was baby sat thru the assemble line in Orange County by the marine architect who designed it before he died in late '86.

Love to see old Cabos brought back to life.

Finish the dash. Relocate the battery and did some work so the engine can go up higher without hitting the hatch

Since you have relocated the batteries and disabled the battery compartment, why don't you now cut through the bait well walls and seal up the battery compartment cover thereby turing your two bait wells and battery compartment into a single kick ass 25 gallon tank that can hold 1-2 scoops. Its a much better use of that space then to turn it into a useless trash can. I am thinking about doing this this winter.

Hey Guy I finally got around to installing my new windshield today back from you last month. I wanted to rub out the boat and wax it underneath where the windshield fits because she could never get to it with the windshield installed. Anyways I can't believe that I waited so long to get a new windshield! I windshield from you is absolutely beautiful and I should've done it many years ago!
Anybody considering putting a new windshield on your Cabo? Do it and I strongly recommend one of Guy's windshields! Also his price is the best I have seen. He also did a new cuddy entry cover which fits perfectly!
