I relocated my batteries into the cutty's potty hole. It will hold 3- Gp 29 batteries. I placed a 4th Gp 24 battery under the back seat and wired them together into a dual battery configuration.
Since I moor my boat, I abandoned the two 20 gal bait tanks putting a 36 qt cooler on top of one and making a storage box on top of the other with starboard. The F150 4S lifts completely out of the water at rest due to the extra weight in the bow. Plus it does not need trim tabs.
My '87 has the original 105 gal fuel tank. Did yours leak or did you just replace it due to its age?
Did you know that your boat was baby sat thru the assemble line in Orange County by the marine architect who designed it before he died in late '86.
