BOOM Bitches.... So this happened today!
Thanks Dave ( @Happy Daze ) For giving me a hand today.
Boat ran great, motor were nice and smooth throughout the rpm range. Damn fog soup out there today so didn't really get to run it that much... had to get home so I could take our little one to a parade and go get pics with santa, and of course by the time I got back to the house, got the boat rinsed down and flushed, loaded up momma and my little monkey and then headed right back by the launch it was clear as hell out... ahh whatever. I am a happy dude today. A lot of work to get to this point. fish will die next weekend!

That's awesome congrats!! How'd she pull with the 1/2 ton? The boat I'm looking at has some weight and I also have a 1/2 ton that isn't in the budget to replace with a diesel. I've enjoyed the build, your welcome on my 12' Hi-Laker anytime for a trade in that boat until I get my new one :)

Todd, I remember a few months back people offering that if you worked on this through the winter you would have it ready for halibut season.

Looks like you are ahead of schedule and have done a superb job.

Are you sure you're just a cook?

Chris, it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. definitely doable, but in the long term probably not great on the truck. 3/4 or 1 ton still in the future!
My pipe jigs work great, even the one you speak of, that fucker got bite 7 or 8 times before i reeled up and realized that my swivel and hook busted off... like I said, pipe jig worked great, the rigging, well, thats a different story! DON'T JUDGE ME!!!!!!
    Thanks George,
    And yes, just a cook.....(SHHHH)

You need to pull those Defiance stickers off the side. Have Benjamin make you some new ones that say 2Short. By now, you have more time invested in the build than they do :finger:
