Burnewiin Mounts

Just picked up a Grady 300 Marlin from BC. Plan to replace the existing flush mounted rod holders with Burnewiins. Also ordered two Cutting Board Table mounts (mounts only as I am going with a different brand table, Deep Blue Marine w/drawers). Here are my questions/problems:

Anglers Choice only sent me one Table Mount. I called and they are out of stock. Been searching and calling for 3 days and no one has them (not shown on Burnewiin site). When you call Burnewiin it sounds like they only speak French? Does anyone know where I can get one? Last resort would be to buy the $350 corner table and use the Table mount from it only? Not ideal.

Will the GM650 fit into the existing flush mount Grady rod holder holes? I am assuming not. Any tips from people that have done this? What they did to reinforce the area with multiple holes (plan to have downriggers in them at times)?

Can you use the universal mounts instead of the table mounts?

Yes. I did not think about that. Technically I could use the Universal Mounts as I think the table will be parallel with the mounting location (table has not arrived so not sure what the mounting location on it would look like). I would lose adjustability but it would be less expensive than the $350 corner table option. Thanks.

You definitely called wrong number they are located right in Washington and Tom definitely speaks English. That table just needs the universal stainless mount

Huh. The number on their web site is 514 386-2034. I even tried Google Translate to figure out what they are saying.

The hatch to the fish box in the transom has a gentle curve (domed) to it. Thats why I think I need the adjustable Table Mount. Dont think I will be able to insert/remove the table with the straight Universal Mounts?

Short Version: I am an idiot apparently with a little bit of dyslexia.

Longer version: Liltrouble at Harbour Marine hooked me up. They have a lot of Burnewiin inventory. I had been calling 514 386-2034 and not 541. 514 is Montreal, QC. Called the right number and they are shipping me an Adj Table Mount on Monday. Thanks to everyone for helping me through this.

Liltrouble is good people. She has been very helpful when I have stopped by harbor marine. The last time I was there she made sure I got the correct life jacket cartridge, showed me how to replace it and educated the rest of the crew at the same time. A++ customer service.

The Burnewiin mounts fit over the factory grady rod holders great. I replaced all of mine on my 282 with the burnewiin's. You just have to shave the side of the hole and they fit beautiful. Pm me if you have any questions.
