Traps in at 6. Still using same bait as opener? Skipjack, makeral and sardine combo. Roach Coach bait cages work amazing. Hold tons of bait. Water 68 calm conditions. Rising tide. No moon till 9pm. 10 legals 10 shorts. Back in the slip at 9. No deeper than 25'.

Attaboy Ted, no deeper than 25 feet, freekin' love it!

NOTE: in the past I've used the same bait over and over again, maybe 4 trips, but sooner or later you just have to get fresh. I love using sardines, not too many other fish as oily, but for this coming Saturday I'm dumping the bait in the cages that are currently in the freezer for more frozen sardines, especially when hooping in 30-40 feet or less. Just lettin' you know what works for me.

    Shit I never heard of re freezing bait after a soak I dumped 20lbs over the side last night thankz for the tip!
