Brand New Trailer and a Problem Already!

If its a new trailer it should have a 5 pin female connector on it. If your truck has a 7 pin round get a 5 pin adaptor. Somehow the electrical system bypasses the surge brake to keep the wheels from locking up when your in reverse. I ran into this problem a couple years ago.

Not sure of the brand of brakes yet but no matter the brand they should not fail after only 2 months and 4dunks not the water.

Yes I use an adapter, yes it has power to the reverse lockout solenoid.

Tomorrow I will test the solenoid before moving on to the caliper and lines.

Hopefully you will discover it at the solenoid
