Braid to fluoro or mono to fluoro?

Curious to your guys thoughts on fishing either braid to fluoro or going braid to mono to fluoro. I have done braid to fluoro for fishing the kelps for bass but never fly lining for bluefin or yellowtail. I’m thinking if you were to get a more slower action rod you could get away with it but I have always stuck to mono to fluoro. Wonder if it would be better fishing the paddies to do a braid to fluoro connection instead.

No much. There seems to be false belief that fluoro doesn’t stretch.

100% true, only braid doesn’t stretch, well at least noticeable at our use, I’m sure if you were to do a very calibrated measurement braid would have a minuscule stretch too.

Is there a bigger advantage to use fluoro to braid? I know with the braid to mono to fluoro you have 3 knots, which could be points of failure

Lighten your drag at strike if you’re used to fishing with a mono top shot or you WILL pull hooks
