Looked for rockfish around Box Canyon today from 200 ft. to 400 ft. and found only one spot at 270 ft. that produced the tiniest specimens. I started cleaning the fish and remembered to take a pic for BD forum, therefore you don't see heads on some. Water was calm, 57.5 degrees. Using shrimp fly gangion with strips of frozen squid. Anybody catch anything larger around inshore area out of Dana P. or Oceanside since March 1? I am going to bake it whole since it is too small to filet and dip it in malt vinegar and Tapatio! Yum Yum. 20190316_210711358_iOS.jpg
