Fun trip with Jaime.
We slayed the Yellowtail our first day fishing on Thursday, three smaller Bonito. Early morning bait was difficult all three days.
We spent the next reallllllllly windy day snorkeling and playing with our friend Spot the whale shark and many dolphins.

The third day, we made an unsuccessful run North for Grouper. Current was way too strong. Scope of line was almost on the water’s surface. We did see a couple nice Dorado boils of smaller fish but “No Grouper for you!” The Indian was laughing at me the whole time.
Roads were great via highway one. The last 15 miles into BoLA you really need to slow down to 45mph or less as there are some killer potholes again. Thanks again @Dogman619 for the heads up on that. New trailer ran like a dream. Boat preformed beautifully even though it does slap in the chop, as always. We managed a few 35mph runs. Wish my trailer swing arm was about three feet longer for that ramp on the choppy windy days but overall no problems with gear the whole trip. Great to be back in BoLA! Looking forward to our next visit.
