I am doing a two day trip on June 5th. Which boat is better. The vagabond with a load of 32, or the Success with a limited load of 12. I do not care about the price difference, all i want to do is catch some tuna and yellowtail, which boat is better.

When do u guys think tuna will be making a showing thats in range of the 2 day trips. thanks, this is my first multiday trip .

It's hard to pass down the Vagabond because she is a nice boat with good accomidations plus a good crew. 32 on her is mild and probably the better choice. There's still something to be said about being on a boat with a limited load of 12 though. The Success won't be as nice or as roomy but still workable. Good luck either way, you'll still be on the water.

Less people equals less tangles.......Especially if you're not an experienced sportboat fisherman....
