Hi, guys. We just make our last tuna trip for this year yesterday. I have watched the weather all over last week and saw that we have a window on Tuesday and Wednesday so I decided to get out to Tanner bank at 3PM 11/29.

We stop at Ultra in Two Harbors to pick up one scoop of live squid and arrived at Tanner bank around 9:30PM. There already like 10 boats fishing through the night.

I got our first 40 lbs bluefin on the desk at 10PM and that's for Tuesday. Everyone tired and get some sleep until 4AM, I had to wake everyone up and change some live good squid to the hooks. The show started to pick up at 4:30AM when we got 3 bit at the same time with 2 of it more than 100 lbs. Luckily we managed to bring all 3 to the desk with some tangle.
    End the day at 10AM with 6 bluefin tuna :) (3 mine haha, 1 40 lbs with 80 monofilaments, 1 40 lbs and 1 more than 110 lbs with 130 lbs fluorocarbon leader. Photo Nov 30, 1 39 17 PM.jpg Photo Nov 30, 1 58 42 PM.jpg

As I said before... if the Cubans are able to do it on a floating door you should be able to do it on anything with a motor...

Good score! Way to go Ton! Lucky you got the big one on the heaver gear. That is pretty damn ballsy though... you know whats past the Tanner... next stop Hawaii!

Nice report. We just got back. Looked like Christmas lights. We saw 18-20 cc overnight remember the self bailing ones are pretty safe. Unless you flip!! Lol great job. We had electrical issue. Guys on hellcat did us a solid and loaned us a harness that worked. Fishing was good no big units only 55-65 but they taste great!! We saw more squid on bank. Less shark too!! Which is great.
