[IMG] I recently killed my bluefin skunk on a 1.5 day trip out to the 60 mile. For 28 anglers, we were able to scratch out 41 bluefin from 15-45 lbs. I was able to hook and land a couple of the 15-20 lbers and finally felt some relief. I have not caught a bluefin since 2014 and it has been a thorn in my side seeing the potential for what can be caught out there over the last few years. I had hoped to get the 100+ lb monkey or even the 50lb monkey off of my back for that matter, but the footballs will temporarily do. Hoping to set the bar higher soon.

Congrats, man. I got my first bluefin tuna this year, too. a 17 pound baby at the Coronados, but hey... it counts because we ate it.

Nice! Catching decent-sized bluefin on my boat is definitely on my bucket list.

Monkeys suck. I'll take 15-45 pounders all day long. Enjoy the good eats!

They certainly do. They can make you a little cranky. It's a form of water torture (pun intended).
