The current regulations haven't changed yet. Limit is still 10. Only says expected to change summer of 2015. I asked the DFG rep who was at the boat ramps measuring and weighing BFT catches and he said they expect it soon but don't have a date as it is still just a proposed law change. http://www.dfg.ca.gov/marine/oceansportregs.asp

Great catch, any BFT being caught is always a great day in my book!

I was just trying to help you out by letting you know if it was legal to keep 2 where you were fishing it was legal to keep 10.Thought you might like that info for next time.I guess no good deed goes unpunished.Nice catch by the way.

For all yall to know it's much appreciated to inform me that 2 is not the current limit( we all know it will be) just got some bad info from too
Many people hat it had "taken effect"! Regardless of that, tuna was caught. On the surface iron to be precise. And for those who are complaining about the report says south nine I'm
Sorry I wasn't clear there. The fish had been caught well above the border on the south end of the nine in US WATERS. I might not know us limits but I sure a shit know don't play with Mexico.

You might want to reread the regulations it's still ten, that is until the Feds lower the limit to 2. When that happens then Ca has a regulation ready to go that drops it to 2 BFT per day per fisherman.

Great effort and outstanding tactics. 95% sure limit is still ten until adopted by Feds. It's coming just not the rule yet. I asked two DFG guys at Dock, they both said it's still ten in US zero in mex!!!

Nice job, we struck out on the tuna Sat. So did anyone really get any 50lb + fish on Saturday? Heard a boat on the 9 saying they had 5 "big boys" in the bag. Was wondering if it was just somebody with some 30lbers and no scale:-)
