Just got in from a day and s half on the New Lo-An was excellent trip as always. Adam and Crew worked hard we went south about 100-120 had steady plummet bite. Lots of lost fish. What worked Best was 30 flouro and #1 circle hook. Must be patient and find the right bait and hold it softly. Let the bait swim out. Long soak got most fish. My brother and I got 4 40-50 # plus handed off many but most got dumped. Several newbies. Few yellows on kelp too. Great food as always and clean fresh bunks!! Always appreciated!!! Lol Hope it continues!! TL

Boat reported 13 fish. You and your brother got 4 of them. Sounds like a serious plunker. But good work for you two!

I hope your all correct!!! Was worried we had just been chasing them on the retreat south. But with these last big storms. Most years that’s it and they put it on cruise control and rip!!!

Sounds like they may have moved a little further south, as Gavin was working around 80 miles down the last few trips.

Looking at the charts, the California current is still encroaching north and looks like a solid lane, so few storms and some warmer weather and they should be heading back north soon (hopefully!).

Great to hear and thanks for sharing intel on what worked.

Sometimes we are hearing 40/50 lb flouro working. 20-25lb flouro and bring your 80/100lb setups. It's been hard to keep track but I guess I'll make sure I have the lighter set ups just in case.

Getting ready to go very soon.

You bet, healing great. In the sling/brace 2-3 more weeks, and started some
overhead PT already. Gotta let the Deltoid heal to bone few months now.
Should be good to go by summer and hope to see you all soon! LOL
