Blue fever on the Tribute! “Once you go BLUE you never go back!” My addiction to hunting these Pelagics are real it started 3 years ago when I caught my first 71lber on a plastic swimbait..caught two that year including a 91lber then the next year was truly an awesome year I caught 28 Bluefin 8 in one day on a five day trip and then my 152lb was just icing on the bake... this year I caught 20 so far and getting my 217lb cow in September on a 500gram Glow Flat Fall 450 feet deep and getting it in in 20min was so thrilling...All my BFTs were caught on either Flyline, swimbaits or flat falls on my own gear..I also made and tied all my own leaders and knots! Setting up all your own gear is a must for all lady Anglers it gives you confidence knowing that you caught that fish from start to finish so knowing that your tires are really strong because you tied them! The addiction is real and I truly love fishing for Bluefin each fish is different and the fights are also different I’ve learned so much and will continue to learn as I hunt for these giants! I had a great trip on The Tribute this last weekend I went 4 for 6 with my largest being 72lbs only kept our limit and gave the others away to Anglers that didn’t catch one...what a great crew & boat this was my first time on the Tribute and everything was awesome! Thank you to Captain Mike and crew you guys did an amazing job and we will be back!! Special thank you to captain/Chef Carri for all the great food!! I caught all my BFTs on Flyline with 30lb Izorline fluorocarbon leader and Owner 2/O Circle hooks on my Seeker rod with my Avet Dorado 2speed Raptor... #girlsthatfish #blufinhunters B52DAE3D-999D-458B-9A83-65B6E5FCC508.png 60473F55-E8F7-4643-BB18-15E70FA3C1D8.jpeg 124711D6-FF72-4922-9B12-892E25039708.png 49A3893B-48C0-4A9A-8BD5-58DF10A9C12A.png
