OK so soon to be home "Crazy Haole" correctly answered the question, or should I say stated the correct location. Do you like 7 inch or 9 inch Mike? Lures that is...

I'll post a pic of the lure tomorrow.

    - previous comment withdrawn - you are ever out here, PM me and I'd be happy to take you out after the marlins - I used to have a boat at Kaneohe Marine Corps Base and fished w/some great guys from Navy divers to MIA recovery guys to straight up cool gunny sg'ts from the Carribean...one navy diver beat the [email protected]#$ out of a shark's head w/the blunt end of a gaff when it came up on a 250 lbs marlin at gaff (while the dude was standing on the swim step!)...

thanks for kickin' ass for us citizens,
    tight lines,

So 9" is it... Pick your poison; from top to bottom Opihi shell, not sure, Polu Kai or Ahi P(ussy). I'd probably re-skirt it if I were you (which ever one you pick)...

A Sonny Arita head (opihi shell)? If so, VERY generous. If it has the rattles, even better.

No rattle, but it is Sonny's; picked it up at his shop back in the mid 90's.

It's yours, I'll have to hand deliver it to you at the plant when we are prepping for your first trip back on the water. Not really but could if you want...
