does it matter if i bleed the rear or front axle first when doing first brake fluid fill and bleed? does it matter if its closer in line to the main line running to the rear of the trailer or do you bleed from furthest/closest wheel first?

Typically you bleed the wheel that os furthest away first, then in descending order of distance.

This keeps you from pushing bubbles into other wheels that are further down the line.

For example, if the main brake line rins down the driver side, then crosses over the axle to the rear passenger side wheel, start there.

If your prone to OCD like I can be with brakes after I do the above I go through it again.

If you don't have one a power bleeder makes the job easier. Commercially available or often pretty easy to fab one up. I made one after installing a whole new system and the most readily available helper to bleed it was my daughter. I think she was 4 at the time. LOL
