    Went again monthly 8-Pak charter on the Island Tak seen way more yellows than we got I went 1/3 on the yellows fishing light line in the kelp started with 15 floro and then went heavy on the 20 floro made up for it wit 2/2 on the c- bass!! All anchovy fish cept for the bigger biscuit on one of the scarce deans in the tank
    Pretty good calico fishing too think we ended up with 37 keeper size for the 8 of us tossed back many shorts
    Beautiful day on the water
    Weapon of choice UC us90xf w/Trinidad 10A
    Also wide on the barracudas fishin the jig and got a couple calicos too
    Not too many pics busy fishin

    Those fish eat anchovies pretty well just harder to fish with them. Once the start eating the chum they work good

    Yes Mike, you should have known that. It's a good way to claim your fish. Plus you can make earrings, key chains, bottle-openers, maybe even a belly-ring for the lady.

    So now I'm wondering whose WSB that really belongs to in your avatar...

    The stones are part of the inner ear which helps them to sense gravity, probably for their equilibrium.

    Possession is 9/10ths of the law, 10/10ths on my boat. :D But, yes, I did actually catch that one at Seal Rocks and it weighed 35 pounds. I haven't got a decent seabass in since then- don't tell anyone!

    Never thought to dig around in the head for some stones, too busy fishing!

    Good fishing yesterday. A guy had a yellow eat his dine went thru his mouth out the gills and another yellow ate it. Guy got them both. Never seen that one before.
