Alright guys, just giving a quick report.
We have huge schools of 10-15 pound yellowtail off the beach in IB AND at the border line.
Me and they boys have been on em for days.
No bait is needed. All surface iron fish. Smaller ones working best, but they will also eat a full sized one as well.
These fish as moving fast. But you will have solid shots at them. We had full on foamers of yellowtail at one point.
Also it’s been an afternoon bite.
Green water they are biting in. Chasing some real small fin bait. We ended with 7 on Wednesday.
Hope this helps some guys put some fresh fish on the deck.
My son got his first California yellowtail!

Great photo Michael, and thanks for the great intel!

Send those schools about 40 miles north when you get a chance, right around Oceanside - Dana to be specific.
