Yep, they're the real deal.
Granted, you need to step up a bit for them, but they'll last a lifetime and seriously, they can pay for themselves in one trip.

Would these be a little heavy for hauling around hunting? I'm too lazy to look up the specs vs a decent pair of Nikons. Besides it gives Foss a bump - and another bump when someone answers me. :-)

Hey Joel,
I carry 7x35 mid-sized binos when hiking. They're about a pound and a half lighter than the FMTR-SX 7x50. I do give up the Fujinon's crazy high-detail rendering and light gathering capabilities when dropping down in size though.
Thanks for the plug on San Diego Legends. Did you know SDL 2nd Edition arrives from the printers tomorrow? Tons of new stories and way more photos!
