Brad this fish was also landed on the day of the make a wish in 04! Fish also ate the bait right in the corner. I knew it was a big fish when it rolled. We had wide open 10-35lb yft on that stop.

there's a good number of big ones out here on my coast. my buddy just got back with a 225+ eyeball on monday. they got it sat night in the middle grounds on the chunk at around midnight. this is a really tough time of year to get the chunk bite going. that was the only fish they got all night, but welll worth it. once i get the pics back with me n my bud n the fish, i'll post em.

I've heard a few references to fishing "behind" the islands from years past. Before they set up all the horseshit back there did tuna travel behind/east of North Island?

Old guys..help the young guys :)

West of the islands, along the 500 fathom curve, will put you where you need to be!

And look at the bottom coutours along the curve and fish the high spots...but you gotta find your own spots on this one by doing it...these are too "scarce" when they are around to just give out a bunch of numbers...we got you within about a mile...go fish and wait them out.
