Left the dock at 6:15 am headed toward Izors with Dan today. Heavy marine layer, little chilly, little breezy. Found a good spot and started the drift using plastics. Boy, Found a very good spot! Drifted this area until about 11:30, put 50 fish on the boat! 3 big sculpin, the rest calicos and sand bass to 20 inches and 5.5 pounds. Moved around a little and found another 18 to total 68 fish today! All released, except the tasty sculpin. Plastic colors favored the red early, then favored chovy color later. Lots of bait around, no birds. Water Temps 60.3 to 61.8. The wind laid down late morning leaving a very manageable drift breeze. Water little murky, 10-12 visibility. Got fish on EVERY drift! K- man swim bait consistent all day, severe bass thumb! The bigger bass have bigger teeth! Captain Dan put us on the fish, great day! Saw one sporty and about 4 other private boats in the area. Epic day! Tight Lines!
