Right on! Nice fish. I used to live below Fletcher - the guitarist from Pennywise when I was in college. One night he came down and asked us to turn the music down...HA!

    Aloha,

Congrats on your great catch and video but honestly, "secret spot"???

Everyone and his brother knew Haleiwa was going off since the North Shore tournament!
Heard it was like Ahi Fever out by II.

Let's see you go to your "secret spot" now and catch two more then that will be impressive.

Hard to tell with the fish eye lense. The coastline doesn't look like a view from the Maili pinnacle. There should be a high point near the middle of the island.

Great catches! Three ahi in two days -- spectacular!

Agree that the comment of a "secret spot" sounds condescending.

    Pupule,

Not trying to be condescending but just honest. We can't be cheerleaders all time. We know that Ahis move around frequently and there's no such thing as a "secret spot".

The only "secret spots" I believe in are for deep bottom fishing. Those areas can take years/tons of trips to find around Oahu at least.

can respect, i guess if someone doesn't want to tell you where they caught their fish, but honestly, i share info so others can benefit too... never know when da boat breaks down and you gotta call someone in.... i call it karma

Bob, quite obviously, I wasn't being clear. My comment was not directed at you.
