Yeah, dude. Sculpin/Lingcod/Dorado all tied for first place. You can do anything with those fish. Just amazing. Making me so hungry reading this thread!

Chili Peppers, sculpin, and 16-18" Calico bass take the top 3 spots for me.

smoked barracuda bellies are my #1 for smoked local fish

    AHI sashimi...
ONO or MAHI on the charcoal...
REDS / CHUCKLE HEADS in the fryer...

I used to eat alot more sashimi until a buddy of mine got really sick. He was going to lunch @ a high end Sushi Bar 2 3 times a week for a couple years... his heavy metals count got so high he was hospitalized for a week and had to do Chelation Therapy for about 6 months... so I cut back. But damn I love AHI... you keep cuttin... Ill keep eatin!!

    #3 mackerel
    #4 squid
No. I am not crazy. I know none of you agree with me. only my wife and all the game fish agree with me. if you taste my wife cook any of these, you will agree with me. her co worker willing to pay $5 per mackerel. but it have to be fresh not from super market.
we love the squid so much. back in 2014 I we caught a full boat of jumbo squid. we count it 237 jumbo squid average 5lb. almost sung my boat. if I lie I die.

I don't know how my wife cook it. she braised for an hour with some kind of herbs and spices. taste like the can mackerel, or sardine, but only 100 times better.
