I disagree. Move it to central ca reports.
I think im an alcoholic.
You know I was fake sleeping...
Ummmmmm.....Pretty sure this the reason I got a boat in the first place. When we run outta beer the fishing trip is over.
I thought I felt a flinch grip................or 2 from your hand.
I put this on the Washington board for a reason. CA residents opinion didn't matter. It doesn't matter if you drink and boat in CA., the place is already a dump.
I know people who can't handle or manage their drinking, they are never invited out with me. Other than that, I don't have any problem with a few cold ones on board. I also oppose the open container law, drinking a beer is not impaired.
Look I have no problem with beer on the boat as long as you don't get shit face its all good. Ken You must have run into the wrong guys here that either cut you off or almost hit you. Next guys are going to say no cigars on the boat!!!!!! That ain't going to happen drink responsible as a Capt. Have fun relax
No drinkin til the boat is plugged. After that enjoy a brew on the way in
I made my girlfriend learn to drive the boat and take the boaters test for this reason! Plus beer cans float, so the more the better if the Ol' Admin Leave sinks, it'll give me floatation as well as something to drink to pass the time until the Coasties pick us up! Plus even if your not going to drink it, it makes great bartering material off shore when you need gear in a pinch I always carry airplane bottles in my dry storage!
I just like the title of the thread.
hadnt thought about the bartering angle. May be able to get a little intel on the radio if you start with " i have a couple of shots of crown for anyone willing to offer info"
California moves in on your post and you get your flannels all in a bunch........have a beer and relax dude, its just fishin.
When you get back to the dock on my boat!

I bought 2 thirty packs for the week and came home with one of em. It's all your fault Sorry we didn't git er done.
Wow alot of CALI up here! Wierd
My rule is one can per trip.
There is no law that says you can't drink and shoot guns in California. If that is legal then why not a beer on a boat. As long as you don't get slapped up drunk I think staying within legal limit is ok. But I get the logic of thought the poster was getting at. Why is it ok with one and not the other? I don't know about Wa. laws.
Tex is late on this fireball bitches ...................... carry on
