Hey guys, so my boat leaks some water throught the deck. The previous owner said he spilled some gas and it ate away at the "silicon" sealant that was there. Not sure if it was silicon or not. Either way I picked up west marine all purpose caulking sealant as I heard silicon was a no no. Anyways first time using any sort of caulking and some excess got on the floor. I mean tiny tiny no one would notice but me I was just wondering if you guys knew of a trick to remove the unwanted stuff. Also, we had a freak non forecasted light shower yesterday so my caulking got to cure only for a couple hours before it got wet from the rain. I checked today and it looks like it created a skin in time. Its not sticky but you can smear it. Hopefully I dont have to try and remove all of it because it got wet.
