That's cool Jesse.
We've still got 6 days left this month, so don't count us out yet...
keep fishin boys.
ya,well go look for another 9.01 Calico.....it could happen.
Maybe this time you can catch one Matt.
Going to the wall tonight. Why don't you guys meet us out there?
Matt- is that little green guy polishing the pole for the net........just wondering, i to am trying to get a leg up and was just wondering what the champs do......i do think i have seen ceez demonstrate that technique a few times..... so who poached who?
Im taking the boat to Cat in the morning
Fuck you guys and your fishing time....I hate you all.
Don't feel bad Jesse, I have to work tomorrow too and I have to take our trolling motor to be repaired and on Thursday I have to take the boat up to Shamblin's in the morning to be serviced. Then I have to pick up the boat and reinstall the trolling motor so that I can drive to San Diego to pre-fish on Saturday and unless Matt gets a big bass at the island tomorrow, I have to get up early on Sunday morning so I can catch a big sand bass to keep Josh from getting his 3rd bass contest win before we do. To make matters worse, I have to catch a big one before 8 AM, because I want to go to the SWBA premier at 10 AM...
Fishing 100+ days a year may sound like fun, but it's actually a hell of a lot of work...
Thats a hella of a pin up.
hey Erik nice rod,
can you tell me the specs of that rod pls?
size, line, lure weight, rear grip size, etc
its that a revo inshore?
It's a Rainshadow ISW946 rod that is down wrapped (acid wrapped) with ALPS (LXN) Guides and the rear grip is around 14-15". The rod is 7'10" and is rated from 25-40 lb line with 3-8 oz lures. It is a great rod for throwing the big swim baits in tight to the beach, it's light and it's really stiff so it has great lifting power. Yes, that is a Revo Inshore. The entire set up (rod and reel) weighs less than the Calcutta 300TE (reel only) that I used to use for this application...
finally I've found my dream rod, how much it would cost a rod like yours?
my plan is to use it with a saltist 20h
You're probably looking in the $300 range...
Thanks Erik, just like I said.. "dream rod"
now I know why everybody looks for a Teramar as a bass rod ...
I'm starting a write in campaign.
This should be the bass of the month for August, tape measure be damned...
Thanks Erik. Kind of hard to go up against a 9+ caught on tournament day.
Lil' Denek gets my vote.
