avalon memorial weekend moorage?

planning on hitting the island thursday in the morning is that early enough to get a mooring? or is wednesday better? give me your thoughts

Your problem won't be getting a mooring, it will be staying on a mooring. The owner, or their friends will take it on the weekend. Best bet is the stringline up at Two Harbors or maybe an outside mooring, but not in the harbor.....

As Descanso fills up (moorage behind the casino) - your less likely to find a mooring - with Avalon being a complete longshot.

If you get a nothing is avail when you get over - come sidetie with us in the Isthmus...

Avalon sucks compared to Two Harb - but what do I know...
