Me too...in a somewhat less homo way.....no disrespect to the homos....seriously.
haha. Back safe guys. Thanks for all the kind words, I think...
Let me say that this was the trip of 5 lifetimes.
We fished our asses off for 7 days and caught over 20 species. I saw things I can't describe. We never saw another boat or human. The reef is thousands of miles of untouched play ground. I almost got killed by a fish. Good times.
The Nomad operation was world class. The boat, crew, gameboats and food were all amazing.
Full report and pics coming once I dig our here.
Here's a teaser. This is a barred spanish mackeral. Similar to a kingfish but on crack. We caught them from 12 to 70 pounds. They love to grab a popper and jump as high as 20' in the air. This fish was not on a my radar before the trip. Just an amazing animal.
Holy crap! I thought I saw a sailboat in the background. Then I realized it was the popper when I zoomed in....Looking forward to your report!
Great shot of the skyrocketing mackerel. I've eaten Narrow Barreds in the Philippines and they are much better eating than our Atlantic Kingfish.
Glad you had a great trip.
I would like to see some more pictures and a report please! Thanks!
