here is some teaser pics from the bucks that won't come in during the day.
a few more
what's in those barrels?
sometimes corn, sometimes pellets. that one is less than 100 yards from house!
That would be a felony here in the Republic ak Kaliforniastine.
yeah, that's just stupid. i feed 30-50 deer each year and harvest 3 or 4. but that's why our deer numbers go up each year , not down.
Oh, they will come into the light, once the ladies start their stuff......
Couple of nice bucks there!
This may be a lame-o question, but if you used automated feeders that dump food on certain time intervals or times of day do you think that the deer would become acustomed to this. maybe supplement food drop with noise?
Then with the changing light cycle and season approaching gradualy advance that food drop into the hours of light, or pre dawn, than prime shhoting hours on say opening weekend?
I know its far fetched but has anyone ever heard of or tried this before?
they are coming in at nite because of the moon phase and the acorns are raining down. even the does are only feeding at nite. in a few weeks the acorns will start to sour and the barrels will be the hot food source. i don't get real serious about deer hunting until the first week of nov.
Texas ranch style.
Nice bucks! I got to spend some time 2 weeks ago bowhunting near Van Buren, nice area! Too bad I didn't get anything!
Bummer Andrew. Sorry you didn't get into any!
yep looks like my TN place covered in deer, CA you have to HUNT your ass off to see 10 deer.
it's tough hunting right now. acorns are thick!
