NIce win over Ole Miss. Cal not as bad as everyone expected. Now have wins over ACC and SEC teams.

    Apology accepted. :gayfight:

As much as I would like to think otherwise, I also don't think that Cal is much more than middle of the road this year (especially with the injuries at the skill positions); we'll learn more next week when they play USC.

Utah wanted Stovall. We'll take Carrington for one year.

Why do I have the feeling T is trying to prop up his conference allegiance here? Last I checked UNC and Ole Miss were not ranked and have both been middle of the road teams, for years now. Didn't you just downgrade another teams win against UNC in your media bias rant?

Come clean with us T, what's the real motive?

My dad went to USC. He's fond of saying that the most important thing he learned is that when his own kids got old enough to go to college, he was sending them to PUBLIC schools. :D

    And he did!

Hey wils, seems like I remember you being a duck fan a couple three years back. That program has been no laughing matter since the Bucks issued them a beat down. Kind off looks like they might finally be bouncing back a tad.

No reason to hide that. Trojans are in the conversation and have some talent that can contend. Considering Washi State is the only tuff game remaining, unless media bias takes hold they should be there. ;)

Knoty, most placed Cal at the bottom of the PAC 12 in preseason rankings. New coach, QB, etc. and expectations were low. To a man, Cal has been a surprise and My posting record here is pretty matter of fact, even with respect to Utah.

As for USC, I see weaknesses. Texas hung with them with defense and a passing game. No run game at all. That bodes well for Utah which has better D and Passing game.

You're right and I was being flippant. Cal was expected to be the doormat, and even a middle of the pack finish would be an achievement and a pleasant surprise.

Growing up in the SFV, I chose to root USC while most everyone else went with UCLA. I'm not a "fan" like you guys. When I was a bit younger, I could tell you who was playing what position on any given day. Now? I relocated to Central Oregon...and following sports is....... kinda weird.

SC was a good choice wils, a solid program. We are all fans to some extent or we wouldn't be posting here. Perhaps some of us are more passionate and or more rational than others. See me vs T for example. :D

And Cal covers the 16.5 point spread. Nice. USC ain't all that. Darnold and his Pete Townsend throwing motion will be ripe for some pics. I'll note that Utah produced 5 TOS against AZ and leads the PAC. We're coming.

4-0. 13-0 if you count last season - tied with OkSU for longest current win streak
