Trying to get some daiwa parts for a sg50h and they seem to be only ones that have the drive gear and pinion gear. But Thierrreviews ain't that good.

Only complaint I've had was the time it took to get some parts. 6 weeks one time

They back ordered some parts for an old Shimano reel that I had. They never bothered to call Shimano to see if they had the parts in stock. I had to call them and tell them that the reel was no longer made and that Shimano does not stock any parts for that reel. That was the first and last time I ever used them.

ebay might have parts for your reel. That's where I found parts for my old Shimano reel. They even sell reels for "parts only" sometimes.

It's not a well run business and that's being polite.

Can’t speak for Daiwa, but for older Shimano reels (and various other household stuff) I’ve had great luck buying parts from ereplacementparts.com

My experience: I ordered a part and my credit card was charged. Two days later I got a message that the part was backordered but would arrive in a week. Two weeks later I sent a message asking about the part. It wasn't there so I asked for and received a refund a couple weeks after that.

Try B&F Rod & Reel. They seem to have the "impossible to find", are very friendly, and ship at cost,.

Have ordered some parts from them and been OK, all though slow. I have had prior problems with other vendors charging my card then not delivering for a long time or being reluctant to return the charge. So I have my PayPal account set up to pay upon delivery. Works very well.
