I have a 18ft glasply that is in need of a Bimini that is taller than the one I currently have. The price she quoted for the top and side curtains is great. I am pretty sure I can adjust my current frame to accommodate the change by adding two bars. What do ya think?

We had a custom job done by her and it came out great. She redesigned the frame and created curtains. I've also heard other people complain about custom work. She's probably great for straight top and curtains.

I have used Leta three times over the past 5 years or so. They are great. I believe her reputation in the boating community would be an A. I have no affiliation with her and would recommend her work.

She has done awesome work on 2 previous boats I've owned and never any complaints or issues and her price is less than half of what most others charge.

Here is an old pic of her work on my 18' Olympic.

Full free standing bimini top + fish curtain with snap out side curtains and above windshield section. Original top was way too low to stand up under, but Leta fixed that problem, and she even supplied the beefier extended frame. Price was around $800.

I used Leta to redesign my winter canvas to fit around a radar arch I added. It came out great and the price was even better.

I used Barrett for my main bridge enclosure but have had Leta's do other work for me like cockpit covers and and other misc things. Price was always fair and work was good. On anything outside of a high end yacht enclosure I would recommend them for sure. Good people.

She did the most hack job I've ever witnessed on my boat when I first bought it. Glad everyone else is getting good service, but that is a honest truth. I had Rob Gilmore re-do the whole thing the next season and his work is perfect.

Well now that you mention it Todd, she butchered a softtop/ fish curtain for me about ten years ago. Maybe the quality of workmanship has improved since then. I suggested she should learn how to use a tape measure to which she replied "we don't have time we just eye things". Sometimes it is true that you get what you pay for.

I also have heard great things about Mr.Gilmore. Creative was the word. Unfortunately I never heard back from them.
