I know you feel. Every time team Okuma hooked up Saturday I was like again! They did a great job though and deserve their win.

Yes Team Okuma did an outstanding job wish I knew what area they were fishing! I really need an RDF on the boat! I would love to fish the Sept. event but Diane and I will be on a 5 day that weekend.

Guys, thanks for the props on the realse division. We were scrambling both days. We actualy lost 6 fish on Saturday. We were really into them. Team Unforgiven had us pretty worried at the end of Saturday. Good job guys. How many fish did Dirty Deeds get? It sounded like you guys were on the radio all the time. Great job team "Hooked up" for your first event. Nice way to break into the tournament guys. We did everything we could to try and crack that third place spot, but we just could not beat out "hooked up". Good job boys. What you guys did not know is that we almost missed the cut-off on Sunday. We left with over 2-hours to spare to make sure we would make the cut-off. 6.5NM from Dana the boat went from 25-kts to dead in the water. My diesel was completly covered in oil. Luckily we were able to ad some oil and get the boat started again. We limped back to Dana at 4.5kts and made it back 15-minutes befroe cut-off. Not a great feeling. I do not know how Team Ozz consistently does it, but they kicked butt.

John, sorry to hear about the motor. Hope you get your boat back in the water soon. You guys did an incredible job bringing fish to the boat, the number of releases I heard on the radio was just amazing. With Ozz's catch in the morning, you had us worried with your boated fish. We stayed out till the very last second hoping to boat something bigger and barely made it back to the fuel docks by 5PM.

I hope you guys can make it next year again and spread the word. It was great meeting the new and old faces and great to see new winner on the podium. Now you guys have to beat OZZ.

Chris, do you have any of the pics from Saturday? The one pic I'd like to have is the one of all three of us with our mako at weigh-in.

    Thanks,
    Jim

Now we gotta wish that Dan & Diane's Sept. trip gets 5 day limits of everything in 3 days, so that they have to come back early, and Dirty Deeds can compete in the Sept event! :)
