Yehey...Glad you confirm that PCH XXH Rod is a perfect match cause someone chime in before that its too stiff for MAK 15Tsea...but I said I read someone also tried & tested with the prototype reel & rod and find it a Perfect Match

I have my 15T on a 7'6 UC Predator for 60lb. I can lift a 26lb kettle bell with it no problme so I thought 60lb would be a walk in the park for the setup. Nice and light and easy to use all day at the rail.

I don't think Okuma has released them for sale officially as of yet. The reels have only been available at the show in a limited capacity.

Thanks guys, but I'll just wait, been given the runaround on pre-orders before and I'm not a fan of getting strung along, especially when they charge first....

That it does, but if you put one in your cart it gives a discount of around $50 on the reel when you check out. So the price is $495ish

The guys at Island Tackle got 450yrds of 80# Berkley ProSpec on my 15T, with a little room on top for a short topshot. Can’t wait to use it.

I found out it was close to 400 yards since I asked for a little room at the top. If you believe the diameter chart here it is. It’s based on mm/METERS! ProSpec 80# states .40 mm so 450 yards is probably more realistic.

Nice I think 450yd is plenty to fish 50-80# mono, what rod do you guys have paired with it? I'm thinking of getting the 15T with 80# braid (50-60 mono leader), 16ii for 100# braid (80-100 leader), and 20ii for 130# braid (100# mono + leader) good idea?

I ended up with the PCH 741 XXH. I usually fish Phenix or UC so time will tell but I've heard good things about the Okuma rail rods.
