The newest items in PENN's lineup are the Fathom II "levelwind" models, which are growing in popularity for the new rockfish depths.

That’s what I’m going to look for this year in San Diego. Anyone see deals on them up there yet?

Yeah it’s a great sale. Regardless of what the show probably has, free spectra fillup, a $20 gift card, and a free lure probably is the best deal on a Fathom2 15LW.

I went to Charkbait on Friday and plan to go again today. Great deals on practically everything in the store.

Well, according to Steve Carson I did not see a couple of new models. That’s what he said. :) We should stand a good chance at seeing them revealed at Icast. Can’t really say what I “didn’t” see. ;)

I saw a reel that kind of looked like what I would imagine a Baby Baja Special prototype might look like at the Penn booth. I tried to get a closer look to handle it, but Bigfoot, Elvis, and Bruce Lee were in a tight circle playing with it so I didn't get a chance...

Couldn't really say....dang bigfoot was bogarting it with fat elvis and they both stank like rotten eggs......then when I tried to get a closer look F---ing Bruce Lee bopped me on the head and said, "never take yo eyes off yo opponent!" So I split to get another 805 tall boy.
