“Day in the Dirt” race this weekend at Glen Helen raceway my son Will be racing my 1978 YZ250 in the vintage class on Saturday then the pro class on Sunday on a new 2020 Kawasaki KX 450, our family has been in the industry since the kids could barley walk I made stickers n signs at the track on a shitty plotter out of my trailer and since my son has took over and made it into a legitimate business if any of you need graphics contact me on a private message I’ll hook you up, MotoCutz.com

Loved dirt bikes my entire child hood and spent almost every weekend at the track, until I crashed bad and ended up in the hospital. Sold all of the bikes and committed to full time sand. Still love going to races and following both SX and outdoor though

gorgeous machine stock is best for sure, can’t believe how much they’ve gone up in value the last couple of years I sold four different ones in different state of repair in order to get my latest boat and it pains me every time I think about it. I just picked up this 1974 200E $700 I currently have all the parts and put it back together, My daughter wants it for her stable

Dropped our trailer in the Red Bull compound today its gonna be a real hoot. Problems with the bike last year but Tj still managed fourth out 20 riders, this year the bike has all new suspension and a rebuilt motor,. Third pic is me last year in the old dude class.

Life long Moto guy here. Don’t ride as much anymore. Fishing takes more of my time these days. Never been to the day in the dirt race at GH. Sounds like a blast tho.
Good luck to your son on race day! He must really shred if he races the 450 pro class.

My family has been involved with dirt bikes for a long time. As a father raising a son I tried to expose him to all kinds of sports and hobbies but it was dirt bikes that were his passion so I supported him in that pursuit. He started off racing motocross for years but it was jumping his bike through the air that he liked the most. At 15 I bought him his first freestyle motocross bike, a modified Yamaha YZ 250, and he took off from there competing and doing FMX shows for 7 years ultimately riding a Honda 450 CRF.

After many injuries and a career in firefighting he no longer takes those risks and has surrounded himself in a cage but is still an adrenaline junkie as a Hotshot on a wildland firefighting crew.

Pulled my trailer up Wednesday before the The chaos I’m set up right next to the famous Talladega starting line, Locked and loaded leaving at 3:30 AM vintage race at eight been prepping for a couple of weeks spent hundreds of dollars for a short adrenaline rush, kinda like fishin......

Hats off to Red Bull and fast house for a great weekend, good family fun lots of camaraderie professional racers and legends mixing with the common folk and lots of beer we’re done safe our compound took home quite a few trophies. TJ was in third when the YZ 250 seized going up Mount Saint Helens, He squeaked out at seventh in one race And him and his partner won the industry class team race

Tj in the white gear on the left of the pic waiting for his partner in the team race 2 time world champ supermoto racer Niki Riemer to get the hole shot and get 10 seconds on the pack after the first lap and after trading laps for 45 minutes they pulled off a win in their class. Great turn out all classes full
