Went out this morning around 8 to hit the rocks around the 32 in La Jollla. Conditions were supposed to be pretty glassy, but it was a bit more windy and choppy than I bargained for. Nonetheless, filled up the cooler with 15 rockfish or so. Hard to stay on them with the current ripping so hard. To add to frustrations, greenback mackerel kept hammering us on the way down to 200 ft. They were big macks and would eat anything from squid to a yoyo.
