Launched out of Oceanside with Billy k, and barnes Cooper on old faithful KNOT REEL.
Within 10 minutes of putting out kite we get a huge, huge bite which turned out to be a 40 YFT. On any other day it would been an awesome day. Trolled the rest of the morning for nada until the tuna god smiled on us again.
Poor BFT had no chance on the talica 50 set up. Taped at around 150 ish.
    Kill time 25 minutes.
When fishing these guys get them in as soon as possible. Those big hook put big holes in them, a long fight will only lessen the chance of landing one.

We kept at it till 5pm with meter mark all day for no more bite. Good thing cause cleaning fish at 9pm sucks

Got video too, I'm sure billy will chime in with the footage

Blind strike, but don't keep trolling where there are no meter marks.

    Y'all are pros!
If there was a tuna tournament this year it would be insane weights that would win.

Wow fish of a lifetime caught in your back yard! Can't complain about that! I am still trying to get into the 100+ club. I have caught some 100+ sharks but I don't count that.. catching sharks are like bringing fat girls home from the bar.. too easy.
