Great job out there It was a hell of a run you had this year. But I have a spidy feeling there will be more reports before the season ends. Or.... Maybe just maybe the season will not end and roll into 2017.

I'm getting where I recognize you guys--just too cool and great photos too. I'll bet you either A, have a huge freezer and/or B, give one heck of a lot of fish away, especially this year.

Hats off to one of the best private boat BFT seasons in the history of So Cal waters but...................................... The 2 big SHEEPHEAD from Cortez Bank really, your out on the last pristine areas to fish with 250lbs of meat on board. Sheephead play an eco role out there for the balance of life in that remote area. Your sport fisherman not just killers . Big goats are nice and chewy and go great with poke, enjoy

    Gary,

My son can't eat tuna right now and really only enjoys white meat fish. So regardless of how much tuna i have, I always try to get some rockfish/white meat fish for my son. He's 1 years old and loves to eat it.

And no, not chewy at all. We sou vid the fish and it came out amazing.

Hell yeah. I've been so busy at work. I did not get out enough this year and the few trips I made were the long boat rides. Did get a couple nice run and gun YFT earlier and a few big yellows at the islands but blew it on these big blues! But it looks like it's not exactly over so we'll see[emoji1]
