Did you get your bracket built down in Ensenada? I have an 80s hydra sports 2500cc I would really to ad twin floatation bracket I've called a&j ,stainless and a few other companies and was quoted cheapest 4k to get it shipped to San Diego. If you have any connections with getting a bracket built in Mexico I would love so more information. Glws if it was for twins I would be all over it. You don't find much used brackets on the west coast.
Just to clarify - the bracket was made in Ensenada? Also, I am curious why you are looking to go with notched transom when you already have that installed? I have seen 18 Stringari’s with both setups, both seem happy with the performance.
Yes the bracket was made in Ensenada by Amato boats. Lots of experience, My buddy has twin 150’s on his.
I removed the bracket for a couple reasons. First is so I can fit it in my driveway. Second is the motor is easier to fish around when mounted to the transom, just a personal preference.
If anyone wants to see it I’ll be around this weekend. Let’s make a deal
