Sorry for the tease ;) Next Thursday 11/8 at 7pm Pacific Edge and United Anglers are sponsoring an evening of everything albacore and then some. It's looking like we might have a cold water year and the albacore bite should be really good next season so this is a perfect time to get out for an evening to talk fishing. Pete Haynes, who has fished albies both professionally and recreationally for over 50 years, has a few secrets up his sleeve that he guarantees you have not heard. He has tips and techniques that can be applied to both private boat fishing and sport boat fishing. He will also discuss flourocarbon use, knots, baits, and a few of his 10-90 tips. I've sat in on his seminars at the Fred Hall show and learn something new everytime.
Cost is free but there is limited space so you have to either call Pacific Edge at (714)840-4262 or sign up on the website at:Pacific Edge - Leading the way offshore since 1980
The fishing is slow, we haven't hit the holiday rush yet so it's a great time to get out and do the second best thing to fishing... talk about fishing:) I hope to see a few familiar faces there and meet some new ones.
